“I am inspired by the beauty that surrounds me every day. It was many years ago while filming surfers that I really began to notice and appreciate. As I sat with the camera, it was in-between the set waves that made me stop, breathe and SEE. I enjoy telling stories about women who surf. And I am STOKED to share my films and photos with you here!
Thank you for visiting & Enjoy!”
The Women and the Waves is a documentary surf film that explores the lives of female surfers who, through the decades, have chosen to paddle head first into the male dominated sport of surfing and found a place of their own.
